Comfortable and welcoming en-suite accommodation, surrounded by a stunning wildlife-haven of wildflower meadows and ancient woodlands, is available in the Folly Farm’s 18th century farmhouse and studios housed in converted traditional stone outbuildings. The accommodation is ideal for holiday, business and wedding guests.

Fall asleep at night to the rustle of the wind in the woods and the call of owls, with your nearest neighbours the badgers in Folly Wood. In the morning watch the sun rise over Chew Valley Lake and take a stroll over Round Hill for a birds-eye view of the world. It really would be difficult to find a more serene, idyllic setting.

Full board, half-board, bed and breakfast and self-catering options are offered throughout the year, in a mix of mainly twin and family rooms. Up to 46 guests can be hosted at any one time, making this ideal group accommodation.

A minimum group size of 8 people can be taken on a bed and breakfast, half or full board basis, with no minimum number for self-catering. Prices start at just £30 per person per night.

Relax here on the farm, or head out and about. You choose. The farm lies at the heart of the historic Chew Valley, at the edge of the majestic Mendips. For those wishing to hit the bright lights when they’re here on business or holiday, Bristol, Bath, Wells and Glastonbury are all within easy reach.

And you’re welcome to hire our conference centre facilities when you come and stay - they’re ideal for group get-togethers, events and training.

All our profits go to support the crucial ecological and conservation work of Avon Wildlife Trust and there are loads on eco-friendly features here including biomass central heating, willow bed waste water treatment and solar hot water. So you’ll help protect the planet when you come and stay.

Food and Drink

The food and drink we offer guests is of excellent provenance. Enjoy delicious, fresh, locally grown vegetables, finest grass-fed meats from native breeds, and some of the renowned local cheeses. Not forgetting some excellent Somerset ciders.

We can provide whatever meals and refreshments you’d like to complement your stay, from 5-course banquets to our special holiday packed lunches and warming ‘help-yourself’ cauldrons of stew with freshly baked bread.
